While he comes from a large-firm background and can successfully litigate in that environment, Scott focuses on providing superior litigation skills scaled to meet the needs of businesses and individuals who need high quality legal representation but who do not necessarily need a large team of lawyers. Scott has extensive litigation experience in the North Carolina Superior Court and Business Court, as well as in the federal and bankruptcy courts of North Carolina.
Scott received his Bachelors of Arts from Virginia Tech and his Juris Doctor from George Mason University, Antonin Scalia School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. After law school, Scott served as law clerk for the Honorable William L. Osteen, Sr., in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. Scott is admitted to practice in North Carolina and Virginia.
